
2. Alaska: Carlos Boozer (Juneau)
Raised in the Last Frontier, Boozer led Juneau-Douglas High School to back-to-back state championships before starring under Coach K at Duke University. He went on to become a two-time NBA All-Star, playing 13 seasons in the league and earning a gold medal with the U.S. men’s national basketball team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He permanently put Alaskan basketball on the national map.
