9. Florida: Deion Sanders (Fort Myers)
A three-sport high school star in North Fort Myers, “Prime Time” took his legendary swagger to Florida State University, where he ran track, played baseball, and dominated on the gridiron. Sanders is widely considered the greatest cover cornerback in NFL history, winning two Super Bowls and earning a Defensive Player of the Year award. Astonishingly, he also played nine seasons of Major League Baseball, once hitting a home run and scoring an NFL touchdown in the same week.
